Yes. Our team brings all the tools and products needed to clean your home, including commercial vacuums, mops, microfiber cloths and sanitizers.
If you prefer that we use your own products, such as organic, eco-friendly or scent-free options, just let us know when you schedule. Please note we are not responsible for damage or results caused by client-provided products.

No. You are welcome to be home, but most of our clients prefer to be out and come back to a clean space. All we need is a secure way to get in, such as a lockbox code, a garage keypad or a hidden key logged in our system before cleaning day.
If you work from home, our team will work around you and switch rooms so your day is not interrupted. Our commercial vacuums do make normal background noise.

Yes, we are completely pet-friendly and our products are safe for your pets. Please tell us about your pet’s temperament before the visit, and keep them in a comfortable room or crate if they get anxious around vacuums or new people.
This keeps your pets calm and lets our team work safely and efficiently.

A little preparation helps us focus on cleaning every surface. Please pick up clutter, toys and loose papers from floors and countertops, and put away valuables, sentimental items and private documents.
Our team does not wash dishes by hand or organize personal belongings. If your dishwasher is empty, we will gladly load dirty dishes into it, but we do not unload clean dishes or put items away in cabinets.

No. When you book with us, you agree not to solicit or hire any member of our team for home-related services outside of Total Cleaning Services. We invest a lot of time and resources into background checks and training.

For the first appointment of the day, our team arrives at the exact scheduled time. For all other appointments, we give a 1-hour arrival window to allow for traffic and the length of earlier visits.
If anything changes on the day, our office will let you know.

If our team arrives and the home is different from the booking, for example larger, with more rooms or needing a much deeper level of cleaning, we will contact you right away to adjust the price before we start.

You can add inside the oven (+$50), inside the fridge (+$50), interior windows (+$50), porch cleaning (+$30) and vacuuming couches (+$30).
Extras can be added to a deep cleaning or another service when you request your quote.

We ask for at least 24 business hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations with less notice, or lockouts where our team cannot get into the property, are charged 50% of the scheduled service price. Please make sure your access method is logged in our system before cleaning day.

To pause, cancel or reduce the frequency of a recurring plan, please give us 2 weeks’ notice.
Requests with less than 2 weeks’ notice are treated as a late cancellation and may be charged accordingly.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If any area was missed or not cleaned to your expectations, contact our office within 24 hours of the appointment and send a few photos.
We will send our team back to re-clean that area at no extra cost. Touch-ups are scheduled within 5 business days of the original appointment, at a time that works for you.

For safety and health reasons, our team does not hand-wash clothing, scrape paint, clean up pest droppings, stand on counters to reach the top of cabinets, or clean under heavy furniture we cannot move.
We also do not clean blood, urine, vomit or feces, homes with severe mold or mildew, or homes with excessive clutter that puts our team at risk. If any of these apply, tell us when you book so we can advise you.

Our team does not lift or move furniture or appliances over 20 lb (9 kg), and we do not climb higher than a standard two-step stool.
Higher areas, such as tall shelves and ceiling corners, are dusted with an extension duster.

If it has been a while since your last professional cleaning, we recommend starting with a deep cleaning and then moving to a weekly or biweekly plan.

Deep cleaning is a full top-to-bottom reset. It includes everything in a regular cleaning plus detailed work on baseboards, cabinet fronts, tile buildup, ceiling fans, light fixtures, blinds and window sills. We recommend a deep cleaning for your first visit.
