Biweekly House Cleaning in Orlando: Why Starting With a Deep Clean Pays Off

Weekly, every two weeks or once a month? Here is how to tell if biweekly house cleaning fits your home, why the first visit is a deep clean, and what keeps every visit after it quick and consistent.

Biweekly house cleaning is the schedule most busy families in Orlando end up choosing. Two weeks is short enough that dust and soap scum never get a real hold, and long enough that the visit still feels like a reset.

We clean homes on recurring schedules across Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties, from Apopka and Ocoee to Lake Mary, Oviedo and St. Cloud. The families who are happiest with their service have two things in common: they picked a frequency that matches how they live, and they let us start with a deep clean.

This guide explains both, plus the simple policies that keep a recurring schedule running smoothly.

1 Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly House Cleaning: Which Fits?

There is no single right answer. It depends on how many people live in the home, whether you have pets, and how much you cook and entertain. Use this as a starting point.

ScheduleUsually a good fit forWhat builds up between visits
WeeklyLarger families, homes with pets that shed, people who cook every dayVery little. Floors and bathrooms stay close to clean all week
BiweeklyCouples and families with a normal routine who tidy up between visitsLight dust, some floor traffic, a little soap film in the shower
MonthlySmaller homes, one or two people, homes that are empty much of the timeNoticeable dust, bathroom buildup, kitchen grease near the stove

If you are not sure, start every two weeks and adjust after a couple of visits. You can see what each visit includes on our Regular Cleaning page.

A Florida note on frequency

Humidity, sand tracked in from the yard and pool, and pets that spend time outside all add up faster here. If your floors feel gritty a week after a visit, a shorter schedule may suit your home better.

2 Why Biweekly House Cleaning Starts With a Deep Clean

A recurring visit is built to maintain a clean home. It is not built to remove months of buildup. If we skip straight to biweekly house cleaning in a home that has not had a professional clean in a while, the first few visits never quite catch up.

That is why we recommend a deep cleaning for the first visit, or any time it has been two months or more since your last professional clean. The deep clean covers what regular visits do not go into every time: cabinet fronts and handles, tile buildup, ceiling fan blades and light fixtures, blinds and window sills, baseboards and moldings, doors, frames and switch plates.

Once that baseline is set, every visit after it is about keeping things there, which is faster for our team and less disruptive for you.

3 What Keeps Recurring Visits Fast and Consistent

A good recurring schedule gets easier over time. These are the things that make the difference.

The same team whenever possible

We try to send the same cleaners to your home, so they learn where things go and what matters most to you.

A clean starting point

After the first deep clean, buildup never gets a chance to come back, so each visit covers the whole home without rushing.

A steady calendar

A fixed day keeps your home on track. The first appointment of the day arrives on time, later ones have a 1-hour arrival window.

Pet-friendly products

The products we bring are safe to use in homes with dogs and cats, on every visit.

The first visit is where we do the heavy work. After that, our job is to keep your home at that level, two weeks at a time.

4 Simple Habits Between Visits

You do not need to clean before we come. A few small habits between visits keep the home closer to clean and let us spend our time on the details.

1

Pick up the night before

Toys, clothes and mail off the floors and counters. We clean surfaces, and clear surfaces get a better clean.

2

Run the dishes

We do not hand-wash dishes. If the dishwasher is empty, we can load it with what is in the sink.

3

Keep the AC filter fresh

A clean filter means less dust settling between visits. The EPA indoor air quality page has more on dust and air at home.

4

Plan changes ahead

Give us 24 business hours to reschedule a visit and 2 weeks to pause or move to a less frequent schedule. Late cancellations and lockouts are charged 50% of the service.

5 Biweekly House Cleaning FAQ

Do I have to start with a deep clean?

We recommend it for the first visit, or when it has been two months or more since your last professional clean. It sets the baseline so your recurring visits can keep the home at that level.

Will I get the same cleaners every time?

We send the same team whenever possible. If someone is out, another member of our trained, background-checked team takes the visit.

Can I switch from biweekly to monthly later?

Yes. Give us 2 weeks of notice to pause your service or reduce how often we come. Moving to a more frequent schedule is easy to set up too.

How do I pay for recurring visits?

Payment is due on the day of service through a secure link. We accept credit and debit cards and Zelle. See more answers in our cleaning FAQs.
